Hi, I'm Lauren Burns

I spent most of my childhood with a camera in my hand, filming videos, taking photos, and documenting the people and moments I never wanted to forget. Over time, I fell in love with preserving memories that felt fleeting.

In 2022, I lost both my dad and my best friend. In the midst of that loss, the photos and videos I had of them became some of my most treasured possessions. Those memories reaffirmed something I had always known deep down: photographs are more than images; They are a way of holding onto the people and moments that matter most.

In 2023, I was gifted my first "real" camera and decided to pursue photography with intention. I prayed continually for God to make my calling clear, and if photography was where He was leading me, to open the right doors. This year, I took a leap of faith and left my 9-to-5 job to pursue photography full-time.

Today, I have the privilege of documenting weddings and capturing the quiet, meaningful moments that often go unnoticed—the glances, the tears, the laughter, and the in-between moments that tell the real story. My hope is to create images that help people remember not just how a day looked, but how it felt.
